"Controversial Fight Club and Snuff author Chuck Palahniuk has revealed Radiohead have written brand new music for the soundtrack to the new movie adaptation of his book Choke. Speaking to BBC 6 Music on the Shaun Keaveny Breakfast Show, Palahniuk explained it all came from his love of the band's music, saying: "Clark Gregg, who directed the movie version of Choke which comes out on September 26 (in the US), he knew that I'd written Choke while listening to Radiohead's Pablo Honey, with Creep, over and over and over. So Clark got Radiohead to contribute a song; to write a song for the very end of the movie, the final credits. "Despite reports to the contrary this morning, Radiohead are not, and will not, be scoring the new Chuck Palahniuk movie, Choke. According to The Playlist, which contacted music supervisors for the project, Radiohead haven't even recorded a new song for the film. Instead, the closing credits are going to utilize "Reckoner" from In Rainbows. [...] Either Palahniuk misunderstood, or he's never heard In Rainbows. The soundtrack is due out digitally on September 23, and it features contributions from the likes of the Twilight Singers, Ben Kweller, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Fiery Furnaces, and Rogue Wave."
