Bob Ezrin - geboren 1949 in Toronto - wurde vor allem durch seine Arbeit als Produzent in den Siebzigern und Achtzigern bekannt. Er produzierte damals eine ganze Reihe von Alben für so namhafte Künstler wie Alice Cooper (acht an der Zahl), Kiss (deren drei), Lou Reed ("Berlin") und Peter Gabriel ("I"). Seine zweifelsohne bekannteste Produktion war "The Wall" von Pink Floyd. In jüngster Vergangenheit saß Ezrin für Deftones' "Saturday Night Wrist" hinter den Reglern.
"The Wall" ist bekanntlich eines der Lieblingsalben von TR. Und so griff er dann auch zu, als sich 1999 eine Zusammenarbeit mit Ezrin anbot. Passenderweise bei "The Fragile". "Bob Ezrin was consulted on the album's track listing; the liner notes state that "Ezrin provided final continuity and flow," suggesting an arrangement of songs that would strengthen their overall cohesiveness."
